The American Dream

The dream has been ripped to shreds in the eyes of some people. In today's world, we see people in their 70's working because cost of living has gone up and they can't afford it. We as a society need to help one another instead of making people save themselves. This country needs to pull together and stop being selfish. When a person decides to save the money and spends on redundant things that they don’t even need, they feel a brief of sense of accomplishment. Instead of spending money on useless things, they should invest their money into something productive such as education or entrepreneurship we can doubtlessly say that person has this will or perseverance. Sometimes the plans might backfire and the ones who really get out of the poverty could be the next generation. Not everyone can become a successful graduate or a multimillionaire. But they can still get out of poverty, right? The American dream is a common subject to all people, but it is something that everyone views in different ways. The American dream is different for everyone, but they share some of the same ideas of it. The dream depends on us making an honest living based on doing things that make us happy or feel good about ourselves.
